Social Activist Marcia Weekes and a number of members of her pressure group, including Caswell Franklyn, Glyne Murray and Kemar Stuart have received what they perceive to be “threatening letters” ordering them to desist from speaking about Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, on a podcast.
Confirming to the Weekend Nation that she received three letters so far, Weekes said the anonymous writer had given her two weeks to change the direction of her show.
She said both she and Stuart took the “threatening letters” to the District “B” Police Station and are expecting an investigation into the matter.
It is understood that Murray received about six letters while Franklyn received one. All of the letters were handwritten and mailed to the recipients.
